 May 6, 2013 from 7:30pm-8:30pm (1 hour) Judging Bowie-Crofton Photo Competition
Thank you to the Bowie-Crofton Camera Club for having me as their guest judge for competition night!
Apr 21-22, 2013 Lyrids Meteor Shower Peak
Lyrids usually produce about 20 meteors per hour peak and is not considered a large shower. Peak is April 21 & 22 some can be seen April 16 - 25. Unfortunately there may be some intereference from the moon this year, but if you're willing to stay up late you might get a short period of darker skies. Meteors radiate from the constellation Lyra.

The Calvert Photo Club is took a photo trip to Georgetown, one of Washington's most famous neighborhoods.

Feb 2, 2013 from 4:30pm-6:30pm (2 hours) Photo Trip to Solomons, MD
The Calvert Photo Club took a photo trip to Solomons, MD for sunset. Evening colors, the water's edge, and even some boats in the marinas made for some wonderful photo ops.
